Apples with Camembert
Ingredients
Preheat oven to 500¡ F. Cut the apples in half lengthwise, removing seeds and cutting out a small hole in the center of each half. Arrange the apple halves on a baking dish, and place equal pieces of the butter in each of the holes. Bake the apples in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove the rind from the Camembert and cut into small pieces. When the apples are ready, place each half onto a slice of the bread, with a piece of Camembert on top. Return to oven for 2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted. Remove from oven, season with ground pepper, and serve immediately. |
